The aim of liposuction Surgery is to re-contour your body to produce a more proportioned and often aesthetically enhanced shape. Liposuction Surgery Procedure

Performed under anaesthetic, liposuction is the removal of fat cells. When we gain weight we do not grow more fat cells. ‘Getting fatter’ simply means that our existing fat cells have become swollen. Liposuction Surgery removes fat cells permanently and they are not replaced. A hollow metal tube is inserted through small incisions in the skin, which breaks up the fat cells that are then removed with a vacuum pump or syringe.

Liposuction Surgery Recovery

On the morning of your first appointment following your liposuction procedure you will need to have a bath and remove the white dressing. Your stitches will be removed at The Belvedere Clinic. Following this appointment your dressing and pressure garment should be kept on and in place for 7 days. You will then be able to shower but not bath until skin is healed.
